Advertisement for Sealed Proposals
Sealed Proposals for the City of Reedsport – Arthur Drive Reconstruction will be received from contractors registered with the Construction Contractors Board. Addressed to, City of Reedsport Public Works, Attention: Kimberly Clardy at Reedsport City Hall, 451 Winchester Ave., Reedsport, OR 97467 until 2:00 PM local time on Friday, February 11, 2022, at which time the Proposals received will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be clearly identified and be in a sealed enveloped marked “Sealed Proposal – Arthur Drive.” No proposals will be accepted after this time.
The Project is for the reconstruction of:
Approximately 815LF of Arthur Dr. starting at the intersection of Longwood Dr. and Arthur Dr. running southeast and tying into the newer section of Arthur Dr. running curb to curb.
Excavate existing road to a depth of approximately 16” and haul away.
Place roadbed Geo fabric.
Place, grade, and compact 3”-0 aggregate road base at a depth of 6”
Place, grade, and compact 1”-0 aggregate base at a depth of 6”
Place 2 – 2” compacted asphalt lifts with asphalt tack coat between each lift.
Compaction testing will be required per ODOT standards.
The Contractor is responsible for all traffic control.
This contract is for public work and is subject to ORS279C.800 to 279C.870 regarding prevailing wage rates.
