Traffic Safety Advisory Committee

The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee was established in 2001.  Applicants are appointed by the City Council from within the Reedsport City limits for an undetermined length of time.  The duties of the committee are to advise the City Council on traffic safety issues.  Meetings are scheduled on Tuesday's at 11:00 a.m. every three months.

  • Established - Council Motion February 5, 2001.
  • Appointment - Appointed by City Council.
  • Term – Staggered three-year terms.
  • Size - Six members.
  • Requirement - Five members are to be residents within the Reedsport City limits at large.
  • Duties - Advise the City Council on traffic safety issues.
  • Meeting Schedule –Tuesday’s at 11:00 a.m. every three months.
