Rainbow Plaza Boat Launch

Rainbow Plaza Boat Launch

Updated and reopened in 2018, the boat launch would not have been possible without many partnerships.  The Oregon State Marine Board and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (including Restoration and Enhancement funds) contributed approximately 80% of the funding with the City of Reedsport (your boat launch fees), the Port of Umpqua, Reedsport Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce, Oregon State Parks and USDA contributed the rest of the funds required.

The public lot features ample parking for 10 passenger cars and 34 boat/trailer spaces. Used by adjacent restaurant for customer parking as well as visitor's to the beautiful Umpqua Riverfront. A large restroom facility is open from dawn to dusk for public use along with multiple picnic tables and viewing benches.

The City of Reedsport maintains the property through launch passes with can be obtained at the self-pay kiosk located just right of the docks or an annual launch pass can be purchases at Reedsport City Hall during regular business hours or after hours and on the weekends at the Reedsport Police Department.
